Prowein starts in Dusseldorf – Serbian wines in Europe’s focus

At the international wine and spirits fair “ProWein” 2024, which starts tomorrow in Dusseldorf, 13 Serbian winemakers and distillers will present their products and actively participate in the B2B meetings with buyers and distributors. The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCS) and the Development Agency of Serbia organized this joint appearance of Serbian winemakers and distillers. Among the exhibitors at the national stand of Serbia will be Doja Winery, Blagojević Distillery, Drašković Winery, Šurlan Distillery, Šapat Wine Atelier, Sena Spirits, 100 Women Winery, Stara Sokolova, Despotika Winery, Despot Distillery, Alexandrovic Winery, Bosiljčić Distillery, and Emperus Distillery.

“ProWein” is one of the largest and most important specialized exhibitions of wine and spirits in Europe, where distributors and representatives of leading retail chains meet.

The previously held ProWein fair was visited by around 50,000 visitors from 141 countries, and nearly 6,000 exhibitors from 62 countries presented themselves. More than 86 percent of the total number of companies are international exhibitors. This year, as “ProWein” celebrates its 30th anniversary, it will take place from March 10 to 12.

Apart from presenting their products, Serbian winemakers will actively participate by creating new business partnerships and expanding their network of contacts. Participation in this prestigious fair gave Serbian companies the opportunity to improve their positioning on the market and boost their exports.

Also, “ProWein” is an ideal opportunity to promote the third Wine Vision by Open Balkan Fair that will be held in Belgrade from November 22 to 24, 2024. This year’s Wine Vision will set new standards in the world of wine in the region, and in Europe, and winemakers from Balkan will have a unique opportunity to present themselves in the best light, spreading the influence and recognition of their brands.
