Wine Vision Showcases Regional Excellence at Vinitaly
The Wine Vision by Open Balkan will be presented for the second time at the prestigious Vinitaly wine fair in Verona from April 14 to 17, before more than 200,000 visitors and professional buyers.
The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, with the support of the General Secretariat of the Government of Serbia, the Development Agency of Serbia, the Association of Winemakers and Winegrowers of Serbia, and the Union of Rakija Producers of Serbia, is organizing the Wine Vision by Open Balkan pavilion at the Vinitaly fair, showcasing leading wines from Serbia, North Macedonia, and Albania.
Fair visitors will have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with 150 wine labels from all regions and vineyards of Serbia, rakijas, as well as gastronomic specialties from Balkan as part of the “Food Vision” segment.
The goal of presenting the Wine Vision by Open Balkan at this fair in Italy is to generate new business for winemakers in the region, as well as to attract more foreign buyers to the wine fair in Belgrade, which will be held from November 22nd to 24th, 2024.
This year at Vinitaly, we expect a record number of major buyers, and a record number of visitors, exhibitors, importers, distributors, and their associations from Europe, especially the United Kingdom, as well as from around the world – from the United States. At the 56th Vinitaly fair, 4,000 exhibitors will occupy more than 100,000 square meters of exhibition space.
Wine Vision’s spotlight at the fair will be on April 16 at the Orchid Hall, with a masterclass dedicated to discovering Balkan wines, grapes, and terroirs of Serbia, North Macedonia, and Albania, which will be held by our renowned wine judge and sommelier, Igor Luković. This initiative and presence at Vinitaly aim to showcase the richness and diversity of Balkan region to a global audience and foster greater appreciation and recognition for the next Wine Vision fair in November.
